Honolulu, HI – Kamaka Air is proud to join hands with Harvest Family Life Ministries Hawaii (HFLM) to support their annual School Supply Drive, delivering much-needed educational resources to children on Moloka’i.
Each year, HFLM coordinates a large-scale effort to provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies to children in Hawaii’s foster care system and other at-risk youth. This year, the drive reached a record milestone, distributing over 1,250 backpacks on Oahu and preparing additional shipments for vulnerable children on Moloka’i.
To help ensure Moloka’i’s keiki start the school year prepared, Kamaka Air is proud to provide dedicated cargo support for this effort. This partnership ensures that hundreds of pounds of school supplies will reach the island swiftly and reliably, just in time for the first day of class.
“Our mission has always been to connect communities across Hawaii,” said George Ka‘anana, President of Kamaka Air. “Partnering with organizations like HFLM allows us to extend that mission beyond transportation—helping ensure keiki have the tools they need to learn and succeed.”
Boxes containing backpacks and school supplies will be shipped in time for Moloka’i’s students to start the school year prepared and confident. The initiative reflects the deep aloha spirit shared by the donors, volunteers, and community partners who make this annual drive possible.
